The SaphyGATE G is the latest addition to Bertin Instruments’ range of radiation portal monitors.
Designed for trucks, trains and cargo control, this instrument features advanced technologies and modern design to detect radioactive sources, including those with very low radiation.
Based on high-volume plastic PVT scintillation detectors, the SaphyGATE G provides a smart compensation of the background attenuation caused by the vehicle with its intelligent algorithm, thus dramatically reducing the false alarm rate. An alarm classification option is also available to discriminate natural and artificial radiation.
This fully automatic and autonomous solution ensures continuous operation in an industrial environment (recycling centers, steel industries, nuclear power plants, etc.) and in extreme conditions.
